After a weekend in which the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team received a new carbon-swing arm from the KTM Factory Racing Team, Miguel Oliveira scores again and finishes the Dutch Grand Prix in 13th place.

The Portuguese rider started the day in seventeenth position, finishing the Warm-Up 1.443 seconds from the leader of the session – Maverick Viñales.

After suffering a 3 positions penalty on Saturday, the Almada rider started today from the 20th position, making a fantastic recovery, which allowed him to accumulate another 3 points for the championship. The TT Assen Circuit was the stage of a demanding race that was registered by some falls and dropouts. The Portuguese rider made a good start and kept his starting position for a couple of laps, starting from there a quick recovery to reach the points positions. Miguel Oliveira battled until the end of the race to reach as many points as possible, even surpassing the rider Francesco Bagnaia before crossing the finish line. The Portuguese rider thus achieves another 3 points, ranking in 17th place in this which was the eighth round of the MotoGP World Championship.

"Today we had a very contested race. Leaving the twentieth position did not help much and in the first few laps it was difficult to overtake. I continued to have a good pace throughout the race and managed to manage well the wear of the rear tire, which allowed me to have a strong finish. Too bad I could not get past the 12th position, but I ended up pretty close. I want to thank the whole team for all the work done this weekend and thank the KTM for making a great effort to provide us with a new part. Next weekend there will be another race and therefore we will continue to give the maximum." Miguel Oliveira

Miguel Oliveira is now in 18th place in the championship with 15 points, just 1 point behind Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Johann Zarco.

The Portuguese rider, Miguel Oliveir,a will start tomorrow from the seventeenth position after a positive qualifying day with solid improvements obtained after the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team received new parts from the KTM Factory Racing.

In its eighth grand prix in the premier class of the World Motorcycle Championship, the day began in Assen with the third free practice session, in which Miguel Oliveira was in seventeenth position, 1.491 seconds from the first classified of the session – Fabio Quartararo. In the fourth and last free practice session, the Portuguese rookie had his best time of 1'34.465, finishing FP4 in 16th place.

Almada's rookie improved a lot this Saturday qualifying, managing to decrease his distance to the first classified consecutively. After finishing Q1 in seventh position, Miguel Oliveira will leave tomorrow from the sixth line of the starting grid.

"A positive qualification. The fourth free practice was positive too, with the race tires. We have taken a step forward, relative to the position, and that was our goal for today. It's a shame that in the last exit I did not manage to improve my time because I feel I had the potential to improve by a few tenths. I'm very confident for tomorrow. We are optimistic for tomorrow, now that we are closer to the points. We want to make a good start and manage our race well, because the last 10 laps will be complicated because of the grip. We are confident that tomorrow we will make a good race." Miguel Oliveira

Miguel Oliveira is already in the Cathedral of Speed ​​with his team, for another weekend of hard work and commitment, in which he intends to continue the good result obtained in the last race and tests in Barcelona.

"The Dutch GP is always quite special because it’s a very unique track. I have very nice memories from there, a couple of amazing podiums back in Moto3. It’s a nice circuit and I hope to be competitive this weekend. After the test on Monday after the Barcelona race, I feel we have made a step forward with the setting of the bike and the understanding of where we need to be. Finally, I go to this Grand Prix very motivated to do well." Miguel Oliveira

The Portuguese rider is now seventeenth in the MotoGP standings with a total of twelve points, just four points behind KTM Factory Racing's rider, Johann Zarco.

The seventh Grand Prix of the 2019 World Motorcycle Championship season was held yesterday at the Circuit of Barcelona.

Following the end of the seventh race of this season, the riders of the premier class and their  teams extended their stay in Catalunya to hold an official test session this Monday.

The Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira and his team Red Bull KTM Tech3 took advantage of the day to continue the development and progression of the KTM RC16.

"Today was a very long day, with a lot of work. We re-tested things that we had previously tested under race conditions, but it is always harder to conclude whether the changes are good or not. We tested some new Michelin tires and also tested some of the KTM-recommended settings in order to be faster on the bike. We had a positive day, in which the team worked very calmly and it was possible to find small improvements that make us a little faster in certain aspects." Miguel Oliveira

In a total of 61 laps, the Portuguese rider made his best time in minute 1:40.862, 1.895 seconds from Maverick Viñales.

Miguel Oliveira is back in action on the weekend of 28, 29 and 30 of June at the Assen Grand Prix in the Netherlands.

After a weekend where the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team reduced the gap to the front riders, Miguel Oliveira returned to the points and scored again in the premier class, finishing 12th in the Catalunya Grand Prix.

The Portuguese rookie started the day in the 21st position, finishing the Warm-Up 1.294 seconds from the leader of the session – Fabio Quartararo.

The Circuit of Barcelona was the stage of an extremely troubled race, marked by several controversial falls and some abandonments. The Portuguese rider made a good start, but quickly saw the positions he recovered to escape his hands as he was involved in the fall that happened between Aleix Espargaro and Bradley Smith. The Almada's rookie was lost time with the incident, leaving him about 5 seconds behind the rest of the riders. Miguel Oliveira continued to battle to achieve his main goal and quickly reached the pilot Sylvain Guintoli, eventually overtaking the rider after struggling with him for a couple of laps. Also benefiting from some crashes and dropouts, the Portuguese rider returns to qualifying positions, adding another 4 points in the MotoGP World Championship.

"It was a pretty tough race. We knew it was going to be very difficult with these conditions and we managed to finish within the points, which was our main objective. I had already recovered many positions since the start, but I ended up involved in an incident on turn 10 on the first lap and to avoid two riders I had to extend the trajectory a lot. I recovered some time, without references and without anyone ahead. I finished the race within the points and I'm happy with the final result." Miguel Oliveira

Miguel Oliveira is now 17th in the standings with 12 points, just 4 points behind Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Johann Zarco.

The Portuguese rider of the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team starts tomorrow from the 20th position, after a day of qualification complicated with the riders separated by very small differences.

In its seventh grand prize in the premier class of the World Motorcycle Championship, the day began in Barcelona with the third free practice, in which Miguel Oliveira was in the 22nd position, 1.555 seconds behind the first classified of session – Alex Rins. In the fourth and last free practice session, the Portuguese rookie made his best time of 1'41.464, finishing FP4 in eighteenth place.

After finishing Q1 in tenth position, Miguel Oliveira will leave tomorrow from the seventh row of the starting grid.

"Today we had a difficult day with a very close group, where the difference between the 3rd and the 20th is 1 second. The distance to the first one is shorter and this is positive. At this moment, the positions achieved reflect our reality a little and tomorrow will be a hard and hot race, where it will be important to know how to preserve the tires until the end, to manage their grip. All KTM's are separated by 4 tenths and this reflects the difficulty that KTM pilots are experiencing. We are doing our best as always and tomorrow will be a positive race." Miguel Oliveira

The Catalunya Grand Prix takes place this weekend in Barcelona – one of the most anticipated rounds of the MotoGP championship by the fans.

The Portuguese rookie has already stated that he is focused on improving and returning to the Top 15, with the main goal of scoring again at the end of the race.

The seventh round of the 2019 season started today with the start of the first two free practice sessions, in which Miguel Oliveira qualified with the 20th fastest time in both sessions, substantially reducing the distance for the first classified, comparing to the Mugello’s GP.

During the first free practice session, the Portuguese rider made his best time in the minute 1'41.920, 1.228 seconds from Marc Marquez, the first classified of the session. In the second free practice session, Miguel Oliveira finished with his best lap in the minute 1'41.311. A positive day for the Almada rider and for the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team, who intend to continue to improve the distance from the front riders.

"Today's practice was good. The difference for first place was shorter, but we need and want more and so we will continue to work on the feeling of the bike and the approach to the fastest corners. The track conditions are different from last year and this also changes our references. I am happy and motivated for tomorrow to continue the good work." Miguel Oliveira

The annual visit to the Circuit of Barcelona is one of the most anticipated of the calendar by the riders and also by the MotoGP fans. Miguel Oliveira claims to be ready for the Catalan Grand Prix and intends to qualify again in the Top 15 with the aim of accumulating a few more points in the world premier class.

"The Catalunya Grand Prix is ​​fantastic and I really like the Circuit of Barcelona, ​​so I'm very motivated for this weekend. For this GP, we intend to be much more competitive since Friday and to be closer to the TOP15. I will work hard with the team to change the final result and score again." Miguel Oliveira

The Portuguese rider is currently in the 19th position of the championship with a total of eight points, shortly after the Italian rookie Francesco Bagnaia.

After a complicated weekend, Miguel Oliveira finishes 2.05 seconds from reaching the points in the Italian Grand Prix.

Miguel Oliveira suffered a slight crash at the start of the Warm-Up session, which caused a fracture in the left ring finger of the Portuguese rider. The rookie of the premier class of the MotoGP World Championship returned to the track to prepare for the race and only went to Mobile Clinic to watch his injury at the end of the session.

The rider made a good start, allowing him to recover a pair of positions early in the race, going from 22nd to 18th. Taking advantage of some drops and overtaking to other riders, Miguel Oliveira came in 15th place during a few moments of the race, however he ended up losing his position to the pilot Karel Abraham, thus ending the race in the sixteenth position to more than 10 second advantage of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Johann Zarco.

Despite the fracture suffered, the Portuguese rookie made a good race and recovery against the rest of the weekend.

"A difficult race. After the hard weekend we had, we did not expect to be so competitive throughout the race. I had a lot of difficulties in the final stage of the race, due to the rear tire and therefore I could not attack the scoring positions, but I ended up pretty close to finishing with points. It was a difficult race for everyone, with the high temperature that was felt, especially in the management of the tires. We were a bit closer to the first place than the last races which is a very positive thing. It was the shortest gap we had from the first riders few all weekend, so we left Mugello with a positive point and more experience now for the next race in Barcelona." Miguel Oliveira

In its sixth MotoGP World Championship premier class, the day began in Mugello with the third free practice sessions, in which Miguel Oliveira was in the 22nd position, 2.194 seconds from the first session classified – Danilo Petrucci. After making some modifications at the end of the FP3, in the fourth and final session of free practice, the Portuguese rookie made his best time in 1'48.023, finishing FP4 in seventeenth position.

After finishing Q1 in the twelfth position, Miguel Oliveira will leave tomorrow from the eighth row of the starting grid,

"After the fourth free practice I had very good feelings. It was the session where I got closer to the front riders and where I had a good pace. In this practice I was much closer to the fastest KTM and only two tenths away from it. In qualifying, the first laps were not perfect, but on the second exit I looked for a quick wheel and managed to follow Rossi for a while. We passed the two a little after the flag, only almost a second later, and we both made an extra lap that was not counted, but that would put me a little further, because we rode almost half a second faster. The result was not what was intended, but we have the race tomorrow to recover positions and that is what we will focus on." Miguel Oliveira
