Almada, August 25, 2018,
The second day at Silverstone, offered mixed conditions for the pilots and teams. Miguel Oliveira will start on the 23rd position, and this is his worst qualification ever in the Moto2 category
The Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto2 team's plan for today was to do as many laps as possible at FP3, but when the rider returned to the track, after the stop on the pit lane, the rain reappeared and again conditioned all the team plan.
Today's qualification was disputed in mixed weather conditions, which became the greatest opponent of Miguel Oliveira, mainly when the all or nothing is the best ally of a fast qualification lap, and Miguel today, but to the weather conditions, preferred not to take the risk.
Miguel Oliveira:
"I did not realize how fast I could go on the wet areas of the track, I never had a reference in front of me and when I could take the risk I've ended up losing a lot of time. I did recover enough, but I'm staying positive. Tomorrow, the race will be wet and we will recover as many positions as possible.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the warm-up is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and the race starts at 2.30 p.m. You can follow the 18 laps on SportTV or motogp.com
